U14

Minis:
Our minis are well settled into training at Aghadoe at this stage. We
have fantastic numbers coming to training every Saturday morning and
we have been very lucky with the weather over the past few weeks since
our hugely successful family day. The family day was a wonderful day
for all and everyone enjoyed all the festivities, games and wonderful
food on the day. Since then the coaches have been busy with the minis
as they settle into the new season and it is truly a sight to see so
many kids playing rugby at our brand new pitch in Aghadoe. We cater
for kids from 5 years of age to 11 years of age and all new players
are more than welcome to come along and try rugby!

Youths:
Our youths section are up and running also, under the stewardship of
Tom Campbell. All squads train at our new pitches in Aghadoe. The
U14’s and U16’s train every Tuesday at 6pm, while the U18’s train on
Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:30pm.

Our U16’s hosted Abbeyfeale at Aghadoe last Saturday morning, while
our U14’s hosted Killorglin and there was a great crowd on site to
watch these matches as the minis training was taking place at the same
time. It was great to see the reactions of the smaller minis players
when they got the see the ‘big lads’ play. Abbeyfeale ran out winners
in the U16’s match while Killarney secured the points in the U14’s
match, a game which turned out to be a great experience particularly
for the kids at U13 who were stepping up onto a full pitch for the
first time.

Seniors:
Our seniors are training ahead of the start of the Munster Junior
League in a few weeks. We face Corca Dhuibhne away at Ballydavid in
our opening match next Sunday, the 04th of October next. All support
welcome.
