KRFC News – New season up and running

Minis:Β

Our minis continued training last Saturday at Aghadoe between 10:30am and 12 midday. We welcomed back all of our previous players, while we are getting lots of eager children who want to try out rugby for the first time. If you have a child who is interested in playing rugby, why not bring them along to training or contact our Minis Coordinator Liam Murphy on 087-4145662 for any details. Please remember there is a few of €2 for all children training each week, which goes towards the development of the club.

Youths:

Our Youth section continue training this week with our U16 and U18’s training from 6:30pm each Wednesday, while our U14’s train each Saturday at Aghadoe between 10:30am and midday. Membership is now due for all players and can be paid online at www.krfc.club/membership.

Memberships:

All memberships are now due for all players at all age grades. Please log on to our website and check out the membership tab for the various options available – player, family etc. We will need to get all players paid up as soon as possible or the players will not be covered by the clubs insurance. We intend to have a cut off date for memberships.

Senior XV:

Our Seniors took on Castleisland RFC in the final of last seasons much delayed McElligott Cup final. The match took place under terrible conditions in Tralee last Sunday, where Castleisland ran out the victors on a scoreline of 31 points to 12. Hard luck lads. Next Sunday they make the short trip to Listry to take on Killorglin RFC at Ballymalis in the first round of this years McElligott Cup. Let’s get out and support the lads!
