Minis:
Next Saturday, our minis travel to Listowel RFC to take part in the first round of the West Munster Minis Blitzes. We will field teams at all ages from U8 – U12 and will take on teams from Iveragh RFC, Listowel RFC and Rugbai Corcha Dhuibhne. The bus will leave our pitch at Aghadoe on Saturday morning at 9:15 sharp and should return to Aghadoe at about 3pm. The cost for the bus is β¬5 per person and gumshileds are essential. No gumshield no play. There will be training for our U7’s this Saturday.
Youths:
Our U14’s continued their winning ways with a fantastic team performance seeing off a strong Abbeyfeale side, last Sunday at Aghadoe. The home side ran out winners on a scoreline of 47 points to 12 at Aghadoe, to win their third match in a row. This was the day after the U14’s travelled to Thomond Park to watch Munster Rugby take on Glasgow Warrioirs in the European Cup. The lads thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Thomond Park and felt privileged to be able to be there for what was a huge tribute to Anthony Foley, who passed away the week before.
Our U18’s played Kanturk under lights in Castleisland last Thursday in the next round of the U18 league. The lads put up a brave fight but lost on a 22-7 scoreline with Alan Lynch scoring Killarney’s try and Kieran O’Connor converting. Next Sunday the lads travel to Killorglin.

Flag Day:
Killarney RFC will hold a Flag Day this Saturday and we are looking for volunteers who have an hour to spare. If you have some time to spare please let Paul Murphy know on 087-3745351. The flag day is a very important fundraiser for the club and is a great way to raise some vital funds for the club.
80’s V 90’s night:
Killarney RFC is holding a fundraising night at the Killarney Grand on Friday the 18th of November next. The theme of the night will be an 80’s v 90’s theme and all are invited to come along for what will be a great night of great music and craic. The cost is β¬10 on the door or β¬7 if you come in fancy dress on the night! So, dust off the denim jackets and leg warmers and get along to what will be a fantastic night in aid of our club. Keep posted to facebook for more.
