Our U18 girls are in action on Saturday at 2pm in Aghadoe against a strongly fancied Carrick on Suir/Thurles team. The Killarney girls topped their conference by going unbeaten in Conference 2 of the league thus securing a home semifinal clash. It will be the first time that the two teams have played against each other this season and promises to be a mouthwatering clash.
Up front the Carrick/Thurles team have three girls from last seasons Munster U18s pack and also a few representatives from this this years Munster squad as well as a player from last years Irish U18 team.
Running rugby have very much being the foundation to the success of this youthful Killarney team who are playing in this Munster U18 Girls League for the very first time. This has all the ingredients of a very good contest and no doubt there will be very little between the two sides.
It would be fantastic to have a big crowd out to support these two magnificent teams next Saturday, so please come along to Aghadoe and support our girls!
