Terms & Conditions
1. The raffle was granted a license in Killarney District Court on the 1st of May 2025.
2. The promoter of this competition is Killarney Rugby Football Club, Caher, Aghadoe, Killarney, Kerry (Hereinafter referred to as “KRFC”)
3. The Terms and Conditions herein set out are at all times governed by the Laws of the Republic of Ireland.
4. The purpose of the Competition is to raise funds for the benefit of developing and enhancing the Killarney Rugby Football Club and the facilities for Members of the said Club. The organisers of the Competition shall not derive any personal profit from the Competition. The Competition is not being conducted for any purpose connected with gaming, wagering or lotteries.
5. Prizes: Total value of all the prizes under the raffle licence is will not exceed €5,000
a. First Prize: Two Match tickets to Ireland vs New Zealand in Chicago, plus a travel voucher for flights and accommodation to Chicago valued at €3,000 and €1,000 cash. Total Value €4,600
b. Second Prize: Two tickets to Ireland vs South Africa in Dublin. Value €250
c. Third Prize: Two match Tickets to Munster vs Argentina in Limerick. value €100
Prizes are as stated, and no cash alternatives well be offered. The prizes are non-transferrable and are vested solely in the winner/s. KRFC reserves the right to add additional prizes where necessary.
6. Each ticket costs €20 and each ticket purchased entitles the bearer to one entry to the Draw. Persons may purchase more than one ticket. If you purchase a ticket on behalf of someone else, you must put the other person’s name and contact details on the ticket, and it is your responsibility to ensure that these Terms are notified to the owner.
7. Once purchased, the ticket is non-refundable except in circumstances where the raffle is cancelledby the Promoter. In that event, a maximum amount of 90% per raffle ticket purchased will be refunded to the ticket holder.
8. If the target number of 500 tickets is not met by the competition deadline, the competition promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a cash alternative which will be equal to the total amount of payments received minus reasonable administrative costs, not to exceed 30% of net payments received.
9. The Draw is open to anyone over the age of 18 years with the exception of the following:
a. KRFC Executive committee and any club sub committees
b. Draw organising committee
10. By purchasing a ticket, the ticket holder is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
11. The Draw is currently scheduled to be held at a venue in Killarney (venue to be confirmed,) on 28th of September 2025. However, KRFC reserves the right to change the date of the Draw to a later date (being no later than 12th October 2025). A notice will issue on all usual social media channels three weeks in advance once the location and date are finally confirmed. The implementation, conduction and certification of this draw will be fully supervised by an Independent Adjudicator Legal Team.
12. The winners will be drawn at random and determined based on the name and contact details on the winning tickets (as evidenced by the unique number allocated to the ticket as confirmed on the receipt issued by the Promoter at the time of purchase), regardless of who paid for the ticket. The first ticket drawn shall be the winner of the first prize, the second ticket drawn shall be the winner of the second prize and the third ticket drawn shall be the winner of the third prize.
13. KRFC will use all reasonable endeavours to contact the winners using the contact details provided on the winning tickets. However, if the Promoter is unable to contact the winners within 14 days of the date of the Draw, KRFC reserves the right to cancel the ticket and select an alternative ticket for the relevant prize. Evidence of identity and age (over 18) that matches the winning ticket will be required before a prize will be awarded.
14. KRFC committee’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into in respect of the competition or the competition result.
15. If more than one person’s name appears on the ticket, the prize will be awarded to the person named on the receipt issued by the promotor at the time of purchase (the “Nominee”) and it shall be the responsibility of the Nominee to arrange for the distribution of the prize to any other persons so entitled. The allocation of the prize to the Nominee by KRFC shall be in full and final settlement of any and all claims arising directly or indirectly in relation to the winning ticket and it shall be the sole and exclusive responsibility of the Nominee to arrange the distribution of the prize to the relevant persons at the Nominee’s sole cost and expense. If the Winner or the Nominee fails to take all necessary steps to complete the transfer of the legal title in the Property to him/her within six months from the date of the completion of the Draw, KRFCreserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and select a replacement winner.
16. The winner of the raffle must have a valid passport and ESTA https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta or visa to travel to Chicago and KRFC bare no responsibility for failure to attain these. 17. For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR):
a. KRFC will retain and use the entrant’s personal data for the duration of competition and for a reasonable period thereafter.
b. On purchasing a ticket each entrant agrees to the use of his or her details being used solely in connection with this Competition. Personal data of any kind will not be disclosed to a Third Party without consent.
c. The Winner hereby agrees and consents to the use of his or her personal data and/or image being released in publicity material in conjunction with the Competition.
d. The Winner hereby also agrees and consents to his or her personal data being released to relevant third parties to affect the transfer of the Property to him or her.
18. KRFC its servants, agents, licencees, trustees, committee members or the organisers of the Competition accepts no responsibility whatsoever whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission, interception or communications failure, for unreceived, late, missing, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted or misdirected claims, entries or otherwise.
19. KRFC reserves the right at all times to amend the Competition and the Terms and Conditions herein set out and in purchasing a ticket each entrant consents and agrees to be bound by the said amendments. KRFC further reserves the right to cancel this Competition for any reason whatsoever. The cancellation or any change to the Competition or these Terms and Conditions will be notified to the entrants as soon as practicable in respect thereof.
