Last Wednesday night, the pitches at Aghadoe played host to the final session of our incredibly successful 8-week Give It A Try initiative. It has been a brilliant two months of growth, skills, and teamwork, but we managed to make the finale just a little bit sweeter with a surprise visitor—Pat’s Ice Cream Van rolled up to the grounds to treat our hard-working players!
A Growing Community at Aghadoe
This year’s program blew our expectations out of the water, wrapping up with a fantastic 49 players registered. Watching the girls develop their confidence, learn the game, and build great friendships on the pitch week after week has been a true highlight for the club this season. The skill and enthusiasm on display prove that the future of girls’ and women’s rugby here at Killarney RFC is exceptionally bright.
