Our u16 and u18.5 girls went Ice Skating at Killarney On Ice on Ice last Wednesday evening instead of training for an end of year team bonding outing.
“It was nice to get together as a team for ice skating, and get to spend time together off the pitch. It’s obvious our girls are better on the field than the ice! We all had a great time, and it was a lovely treat to end 2025. Thanks to Anne and all the coaches for organising, and the work they’ve put in all year.”
Nessa O’Donoghue, u16 girls captain
“As a group we collectively enjoyed going ice skating together. Not only was it a way to bond as a team and grow closer together, even though we are an already close knit team, but it allowed us to get to know the u16 girls better too. It was a fun experience all round.. even for the girls who has no clue how to ice skate!”
Melissa McCarthy, u18.5 girls captain
“It was great to give the girls an evening off training and do something different and fun instead, whilst still bonding as friends and teammates. Letting the u16s and u18s mix and have fun has been great for the unity and support in these group of girls. Thanks to all the parents who came too and continue to be a big part of our group this season. A nice way to round off a busy and successful 2025 and hoping we can continue into 2026 for the rest of the season.”
