The Killarney RFC U8s team is the perfect introduction to rugby for boys and girls aged 7 and 8. At this age, it’s all about having fun, learning the basics of the game, and building friendships in a safe and inclusive environment.

Our U8s play non-contact, tag rugby, which helps children develop core movement skills like agility, balance, and coordination – all while enjoying the excitement of team play. We focus on fun games, teamwork, and positive encouragement to help every child grow in confidence and enjoy being part of the club.

What to Expect

• Training every Saturday morning at our home grounds in Aghadoe

• Non-contact, tag-based rugby that’s fun and age-appropriate

• Experienced, Garda-vetted coaches who create a safe and supportive environment
