Our U16S KICK girls did themselves proud on Saturday in Castleisland in terrible weather conditions against a strong Bruff team. Not our day to win, but they played some fantastic rugby, keeping pressure on Bruff.
Big shout-out to Mark from Bruff for stepping in to ref at short notice, and to Bruff for a great game. Final score 27 to 12. Thanks to the players, coaches, supporters and the fine spread of food, and well-needed hot soup afterwards.
Wishing a speedy recovery for the girls who picked up a few injuries.
Next game is away to Mallow in the first round of the plate next Saturday at 1 o’clock.
