Our Minis season is well underway, with children aged between 5 and 11 thoroughly enjoying their rugby at Aghadoe every Saturday morning. Mini rugby is open to boys and girls aged and new players are always welcome. No experience necessary and Mini rugby is a fantastic way for children to make friends, stay fit and learn to play rugby. For details give our Minis Coordinator Dave Hickey a shout on 087-2546290 or pop up to Aghadoe any Saturday morning.
Blitzes:
Two weekends ago, we hosted the first round of West Munster Blitzes with Minis teams from Tralee RFC, Castleisland and Iveragh visiting aghadoe – over 200 children enjoying wonderful rugby in glorious sunshine! A cracking morning of rugby was had by all and this Saturday we host our friends from Listowel RFC for matches at all ages. Don’t forget the waterbottle and gumshield!
KRFC Little Fawns:
Last year we commenced our Little Fawns programme aimed at getting the next generation of rugby players playing the game. Every Saturday morning our amazing and dedicated Fawns coaches train the children aged 5 and 6, ensuring the kids have fun and learn to play rugby in a non contact environment where fun is king! Fawns rugby helps build confidence, make new friends and most importantly of all have great fun every Saturday. If you have a son or daughter who is aged 5, why not bring them along and let them give our Little Fawns a try?
