We are absolutely delighted to share another fantastic milestone for our youth girls’ section, as Killarney RFC’s Izzy Hilario and Nessa O’Donoghue lined out for the U17 Munster development squad over the weekend.
A Brilliant Performance in Fethard
The Munster squad travelled to the Fethard Town Park facilities to take on EIRA (Eagle Impact Rugby Academy), a premier youth touring squad from the United States.
Representing your province is always a massive honour, but both Izzy and Nessa took the challenge completely in their stride. The girls played a brilliant, high-tempo game against an incredibly athletic American side, putting in phenomenal performances on the pitch and coming away with a great win.
Incredible Pride at Aghadoe
Seeing our homegrown players progress through the ranks at Aghadoe and wear the red jersey of Munster is a testament to their hard work, commitment, and the excellent coaching structures within our youth girls’ setup.
Everyone at Killarney RFC—from the committee to your teammates and coaches—is incredibly proud of both Izzy and Nessa for their achievements this weekend. We look forward to seeing them bring that high-level experience back to the club as they continue their rugby journeys.
