Killarney made a big step up from last week’s season opener, showing fantastic commitment, incredible work rate, and a strong performance both in the pack and out wide 💪🔥
Killarney took the lead after six minutes after some strong carries by the forwards before the ball was moved to Culann Cronin at first centre. Culann showed excellent footwork to beat two defenders, refused to be taken down, dragged three more defenders for five yards, and still managed to reach for the line to score a superb try 🙌🏉
Luke O’Sullivan added the conversion to make it 7-0 to Killarney ✅
The home side replied with a penalty and a converted try to lead 10-7 at the break. Castleisland then scored a converted try from a turnover in the second half before Killarney out-half Luke O’Sullivan kicked a penalty to bring it back to 17-10.
Killarney worked incredibly hard in search of the equaliser but just ran out of time ⏱️
